I was speaking with a coworker about the merits of journaling / self-expression exercises in comparison to actual therapy. She’s a Social Worker, I’m planning to become one.
Anyway, she has this great outlook on self-analysis, and creativity, and recommended a book with exercises to complete. I’m going to start with it tonight.
I doubt you’ll see much of that work on here. It’s more of a personal thing, but it may help me get those creative juices flowing once again.
I don’t know why I’m so tired after such an early night last night (due to power outages), but I could go to bed right now. Mac’n’cheese will be out of the oven here shortly. After the girls are bathed and in bed, I may just do the same.
