Owner and founder an online influencer and freelance writer, Trish McCourt has been blogging for more than nine years and have built considerable clout online with platforms like Twitter and Facebook. She is learning and applying new technologies all the time. She has had the good fortune to be recognized for her online/digital influence with invitations to media and Networking events from She’s Connected, PEI Tourism, FORD Canada and Disney Cruise lines, and interviewing Today’s Parent Editor in Chief.

She graduated in 2010 from Dalhousie School of Social Work with a post-degree Bachelor of Social Work and is registered with the Nova Scotia Association of Social Workers. In 1995 she accomplished a Bachelor of Arts – Psychology (minor – English) from Saint Mary’s University, and then in 1996 an Early Childhood Studies certificate from Nova Scotia Community College.

Her work experience includes research, facilitation, supervisory and administration in many areas of the Early Childhood and family services field from preschool, childcare and school-age care to family resource/support. I am an active advocate for women, family and children’s issues.
